Welcome ....

Our sole purpose of Insight Eco Tours is to curate off-the-beaten-path retreats that serve as transformative sanctuaries for seekers. Nestled in sacred surroundings, these retreats offer a vital pause from daily life, providing a serene space for individuals to reconnect with the natural world and rediscover neglected aspects of themselves.

We understand the importance of stepping away from the routine to recalibrate and realign with our inner selves. Our retreats offer a unique opportunity to embark on this journey of self-discovery, guiding participants towards a deeper connection with their physical and spiritual being.

By immersing ourselves in the beauty and tranquility of nature, we invite participants to explore and honor the wisdom of their bodies and spirits. Through mindful practices and immersive experiences, we facilitate a profound reconnection with oneself and the world around us.

Our retreats are not just about escape; they are about transformation. We encourage participants to embrace discomfort as a catalyst for growth, empowering them to cultivate resilience and adaptability in the face of life's uncertainties.

At Insight Eco Tours, we open the door to those who seek to awaken their spirit and embrace the journey of self-discovery. Join us as we embark on an adventure of transformation, forging new tools to navigate life's ever-changing landscapes.

Below offerings we provide to our groups in order to support a deeper reconnection to themselves.

 Yoga and Qi Gong

Many of Insight Eco Tours retreats, whether in the Sacred Valley of Peru or the cloud forest of Costa Rica or the verdant hills of the Azores, our yoga connects us to our breath and body and the land on which we stand. Our yoga practice on retreat is a way to step back from our thinking mind and everyday life.

Nancy believes that Asana practice is a powerful way to see our mind more clearly and open our hearts more deeply. Baring witness to our strengths and weaknesses, WITHOUT JUDGEMENT helps us better understand who we are and how we interact with the world around us.

Morning practice is a warm vinyasa flow, focusing on breath and alignment. This practice awakens the body, developing strength and balance in body & mind-leaving us open to heal, revitalize and enlighten.  Practice is accessible to all levels of experience.

Our afternoon-evening practices are of a more restorative nature, offering longer holds and deep opening. These practices can unlock deep rooted and dormant emotions. This is a terrific practice to unload the baggage of the past.

Qi Gong, is a new addition to our retreats. Qi Gong Is an age-old practice that harnesses the power of the breath, movement and intention to create health and balance within the body. The slow, gentle movements warm the tendons, ligaments and muscles,  tone the vital organs and promote circulation.

Regular practice will help reduce stress, build stamina, increase vitality and enhance the immune system. Qi Gong addresses challenges such as high blood pressure, vertigo, balance issues, ease pain from knee osteoarthritis, and lessen chronic fatigue.

Qi Gong offers the beautiful gift of quieting the mind and emotions, and relaxing into the body.

Meditation

Whether you are an experienced meditator or experiencing meditation for the first time, we offer guidance & space in our retreats to open to sitting with your thought in a different way. Simple, concrete instruction and the opportunity to spend some time with yourself in reflection, may just open up a whole new you.

Focusing your attention on either your breath or Mantra, you begin to watch your thoughts. This is a way to step away from the chatter that often crowds the mind. When you sit down to meditate the first thing you do is settle. Settling means coming into a space to meditate and allowing yourself to be completely as you are.

All you need is you. You simply begin. You start where you are and as you discover, meditation is about letting the world in and awakening to your life.

As an Intuitive healer one has a vast understanding of how the body’s natural energetic fields work and flow through the system and channels of the individual. Intuitive healing is a method that encompasses and works on the whole of the person on the emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual level.

Caroline's healing methods and relationship to Source/ Universal energy fields allow for intentional insights & messages from spirit. In this “realm” there are no limitations of time or space. How does it work? Intuitive healers use their gifts, which come in varied forms such as visual, audial, or deep knowing and feeling, to receive spiritual guidance for their client.

Unlocking issues within a person's energetic system offers an opportunity to feel more aligned, balanced, and reenergized. Understanding the subtle nuances and images provides Caroline the ability to identify the blocks, traumas, stuck or stagnant energy, and imbalances of the client.

Caroline works toward creating a shift in the energetic system, releasing in the subtle energetic bodies and eventually felt in the physical. The primary goal is to get to the root of what is ailing her client through spiritual guidance and intuition.  Intuition being the ability to understand immediately, without the need for conscious reasoning.

A profound feeling upon completing a healing session with Caroline is calm, restored energy,  and a deeper awareness of what path or tools may be needed in order to sustain one's vitality and connection to their "life force". Alignment and congruence is key to healing.

Soft Adventure hiking

Exploring nature and connecting with the local culture involves walking or light hiking.  These excursions are an integral part of each day on our retreats. Ancient ruins or spiritual sights are often only accessible by our own two feet.

We take extra effort to share the strenuousness of each of these walks/ hikes in order to make for a pleasant experience. As always, they are optional. Another critical component of wandering is a full immersion into a new place through personal interactions and hands-on adventure.

Needless to say, almost all of our guests find it worthy of the effort and this alone

creates an enriching transformative travel journey.
